Who's The Conference for?

Honestly, it's for anyone who's involved in marketing, and who lives in Devon and Cornwall specifically.

The speakers have been put together to particularly help Heads of Marketing, Marketing Managers and Executives, and Digital Marketers.

If you're joining us from an agency, chances are you're going to already know some of the information, but by no means all of it. We hope you'll want to join us still!

Any COVID safety measures?

If you feel like you would like to wear a face mask, please do, though again this won't be compulsory.

Finally, please make use of the sanitisation stations available throughout the Sherwell Centre.

After everything that we have all been through the last couple of years, let's try to keep everyone as safe as possible. Thank you for your understanding.

The venue

We're incredibly fortunate to have the use of The Forum at the University of Exeter. It's really very impressive - if you haven't been yet, then I can't wait for you to see it. It's stunning - lucky students!

The Alumni Auditorium in The Forum is where the majority of the Building Brands conference will be taking place. Be prepared - it's incredible.

Who should come?

The conference is for anyone who's involved in marketing, and specifically those who live in the South West of England. The speakers have been put together to particularly help Heads of Marketing, Marketing Managers and Assistants/Executives, and Digital Marketers. Those working in agencies would also really benefit from attending.

If you work in a marketing team, we'd strongly recommend a number of your team come along to the conference. It's amazing how people can take such different things away from listening to the same speakers! And by bringing a few of your team, you'll be able to make sure that someone's able to attend all the workshops and talks.

Attendees from the Plymouth conference in May also mentioned how beneficial it was to them in terms of career development, especially for the younger team members.

Building Brands: After Dark

One of the pieces of feedback that we had from the Plymouth event was that you all wanted more of an opportunity to meet each other, socialise, and have a bit of fun.

So we've created Building Brands: After Dark!

We'll be announcing more and more about this as the conference gets closer, but essentially here's what it's about.

The conference will finish around 5pm. Downstairs from the Alumni Auditorium in The Forum, is the Forum Kitchen. This is perfect - it has a bar, loads of space, and we'll make sure that everyone has a really good time. Attendees will get a free drink and we'll also have a bit of food. And with Chris Bentley's approach to his Notworking Networking events, you can be sure that there will be a lot of fun, and opportunities to meet each other.

We have had to limit the number of After Dark tickets that we can sell. So if you want to be there, don't leave it long to buy your ticket.
