In this talk, featuring the former GC of one of the UK's largest fashion brands, we will explore how brands are dealing with changing customer expectations and the threats and opportunities posed by emerging trends, including a break down in consumer loyalty, gamification, growing consciousness around ESG and evolving search engine strategies and more. Increasingly, brands are operating as a shorthand for trust, businesses are expecting their brands to work harder, but this requires a strategic shift, placing brand front and foremost of their business strategy.

Prior to joining Foot Anstey, Tom spent over a decade as General Counsel and Company Secretary for Boohoo Group – one of the UK’s fastest growing listed online retailers. Tom advised the co-founders, management teams and the board on a whole range of corporate and commercial matters as the business enjoyed significant growth in the UK and internationally.
